Banquet

The Conference Banquet is scheduled to take place in the manor house “Schloss Reinach”, Munzingen at 20:00 on Tuesday, 18th September. There will be a shuttle service to Schloss Reinach directly from the conference venue departing from 19:15. An aperitif will be served in the gardens of the manor house (weather permitting) following by supper in the great hall. The shuttle service back to Freiburg departs from 23:00. We recommend a semiformal dress code keeping in mind that it could be a little chilling this time of year.

Dinner in honour of Ron Kaback

The dinner in honour of Ron Kaback will take place at the “Dattler”, a restaurant located on the hillside adjacent to the city of Freiburg at 20:00 on Monday, 17th September. The best way to reach the Dattler is on foot. It is a 10 min walk from the conference venue to the “Stadtgarten”. At the Stadtgarten, a small cable car brings you directly to the restaurant. Alternatively, you can walk the whole way or take a car. There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Charges for dinner are not (!) included in the conference fee.

Guided walking tour of Freiburg

A guided historic tour (in English) through your host city will start at 16:00 on Tuesday, 18th September directly from the conference venue. The tour will last approximately one hour and is organized in groups of 30 participants or less. This is a walking tour as the city center of Freiburg is a beautiful but small pedestrian area. There is no extra charge for this tour.

On-site Titisee you will have the possibility to stroll through the town, maybe buy a cuckoo-clock, some Black Forest smoked ham or simply have a cup of coffee in the beautiful surroundings. The bus will bring you back to Freiburg at 19:00. There is no extra charge for this tour.
